Meet Autry

I’m Autry Benton — a Christian, conservative, husband, father, grandfather, business owner, public servant, and proud American. After graduating Conway High School in 1996, I proudly enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, where I served four years of honorable active duty from 1996 to 2000.

Upon returning home, I joined our family’s concrete construction business, where I now lead a strong, dedicated team as owner. In 1998, I married my high school sweetheart and the love of my life. This November, we celebrate 27 incredible years of marriage. We’ve been blessed with four wonderful children and two amazing grandchildren.

I’ve had the privilege of serving on the Conway City Council and previously ran for the South Carolina State Senate. Whether it’s cheering on Clemson football, staying active through cycling and exercise, or enjoying the great outdoors, I value faith, family, and freedom above all.

I love this country, our great state of South Carolina, and the Horry County community I call home. God has richly blessed my life, and I’m passionate about giving back through servant leadership. America is worth fighting for — and I’m ready to serve.
